For the 3rd year running, Futura Group has succeeded in becoming a finalist in the Premier’s NSW Export Awards program, and will be heading to the prestigious awards ceremony at The Star on October 28th to compete for NSW’s highest export industry accolade.

The Awards program aims to publicly recognise the talent and innovative spirit of NSW’s top exporters, and their important role in boosting the State and Australia’s economy. Winners of the Premier’s NSW Export Awards 12 industry categories automatically progress as national finalists to the Australian Export Awards.

In 2013 and 2014, Futura Group were shortlisted in the Education category for  achievements with Escoffier Online, including the development of an online education platform used to launch the world’s first completely online culinary academy.

In 2015, Futura has been nominated in the Hunter/ Central Coast Exporter award category, recognising our consultancy and training development services – throughout 2014/15 Futura Group consulted extensively with Galaxy Entertainment Group (Macau) to determine inhouse training needs prior to a major redevelopment launch where a unique approach to training was required.

Futura Group planned and developed a suite of training materials to be used across all operational areas of GEG’s flagship property Galaxy Macau, assisting in the rollout of training to over 3,500 operational staff across multiple business units and outlets. Our eLearning Consultants and Instructional Designers helped develop programs for chefs, foodservice, back of house, supervisors, and gaming staff – incorporating content to address cultural and contextual needs, existing service standards and varying SOPs.

Following the success of the training program development, GEG selected Futura Group to develop the pre-launch training for GEG’s new casino ‘Broadway’, where Futura developed staff onboarding and customer service training programs used during pre-opening training (prior to the successful launch in May 2015).

We are honoured to be competing for this accolade and we would like to thank both the Export Council of Australia and NSW Trade & Investment for their consideration. Futura Group are looking forward to the event, and engaging with NSW’s most dynamic and successful business and industry representatives!
